Can you help us? Can you be micro volunteer or a mainstay of our team? You don’t need to have lots of knowledge about planning, heritage or running a charity – we welcome and will cherish a range of life experience. We have activities big and small – whether you can spare a few hours as a one off, or could regularly support us.

You could help us by:

• Joining our Celebration Event team. This is a big focus for this year as we get the yearly event off the ground. We need people who can help us make things happen behind the scenes – people who are willing to speak to potential stallholders, approach local businesses for funding or even design flyers. We have activities big and small.
• Becoming a member of our heritage group. No experience or heritage knowledge expected, just an interest in WGC’s heritage. The group has big ambitions this year, we are particularly looking for people to help with our pop up exhibition this summer.
• Developing into a micro volunteer. You could help fulfil orders on our new website to help us bring in funds, come up with ideas for new WGC merchandise (we have something in particular in mind for this Christmas, or you could generate a new idea) and support marketing and events.
